Individual Pension Plans

Michael and Claire provide actuarial services to organizations that establish individual pension plans (IPPs).

The following is a partial list of the services we can provide:

• Preliminary review and recommendations for establishing an IPP or a Retirement Compensation Arrangement (RCA).

• Registration of the IPP with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

• Ongoing administration of IPPs for active employees, including filing of annual returns, calculation of pension adjustments, preparation of information requested by auditors, and filing of T3P tax returns.

• Administration of IPPs for retired members including calculation of annual indexing adjustments;

• Transfer of assets to locked-in RRSPs or another pension plan on plan termination.
